Funding Process
The Cascade Columbia Fisheries Enhancement Group is currently not accepting any new funding proposals. Please contact us if you have questions or project ideas.
Thank you for your interest in the Cascade Columbia Fisheries Group (CCFEG). The CCFEG allows and encourages project applications from anyone; individuals, community groups, agencies, or tribes. We provide funds for cooperative projects with landowners that support salmon recovery and recreational fisheries. Through this simple application and evaluation process, we can help leverage funds for larger projects, and/or provide complete funding for small projects. This can be an effective way to accomplish projects that rely on local volunteer organizations.
The application and review process for CCFEG is intended to be simple and fast. Funding can generally be approved within just a few months. Project types are not limited, but must demonstrate value to the target fish and/or fishery. Extra consideration will be given to projects where CCFEG funding can leverage larger amounts. Other grant applications for matching funds may be attached to this application to provide additional information.
Project applications may be submitted at any time and in most cases, funding decisions will be made within two months. However, if a project application lacks sufficient detail about the proposed project the CCFEG Board may request additional information, which could extend the decision-making time frame.
